Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The cafe itself is amazing! Supporting local We ordered a chocolate chip muffin and chocolate chip cookie and one of the tomato basil bites Honeysuckle Matcha latte and coco mocha nut The drinks were awful tasting mine tasted like straight up seaweed and it was HOT MATCHA with ice thrown on top.. making it lukewarm and the coffee tasted burnt to a crisp. I have been to a fair share of “organic vegan” cafes in NY/up north. This place would not return We did not receive our tomato basil bites which are $6 We spent about $25 which is reasonable for everything purchased I will give the aesthetic of the cafe a 5/5 because of the details but I’m coming to find in the triangle the ones who decorate nice and aesthetic have lower quality drinks. I enjoyed the baked treats as I know as someone gluten free it can be tricky to bake with almond flour etc so they were very decent baked goods

Amazing interior design very happy vibe, great coffee and small bits, Great place to work with your laptop, many young people around here. Really very comfortable seats and table. My compliments ☺️ 💛

The decor is beautiful and very unique, however the interior seating is quite limited due to people working, reading and chatting. Lucky for us as soon as we ordered a couple was getting up. There’s available space outside of the shop but you lose the ambience and experience. Not the shop’s fault, but there really should be a time limit on customers just taking seats to work and study. There was literally one person taking up a whole table with books, laptops and papers, that could’ve sat five people. I understand that Lucky Tree is considered a 3rd space, but 75% of the available seating was taken up by people who were there to work.

I absolutely loved the ambiance of this café, it’s warm, cozy, and beautifully designed. The atmosphere makes it the perfect place to sit back and relax with a great cup of coffee. I tried the Coco Mocha Nut and it was simply amazing! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

Lucky Tree Coffee House / Art Cafe is such a Raleigh landmark and find !! Originally opened in 2015 by twin sisters ~ Amanda & Ashley ~ it provides the most unique vibe in a full service coffee cafe plus art gallery, providing art of over 50 artists most of them ‘locals’. The bohemian vibe is so easy going and welcome in and amongst the more ‘fast paced’ industrial coffee shoppes … we love it here and every visit is unique to that visit !! See y’all again soon !!
